Psalm 127 Build What I Cannot Build

Father, in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, tonight I come under the covering of your word in Psalm One Hundred and Twenty-Seven. Lord, except you build this house, I labor in vain, so tonight I hand my home over to your keeping. Let your fire surround our lives tonight, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Your word says, “Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Father, tonight I release my own watching into your hands. Every spirit trying to slip in while I rest, every quiet threat against my household, every plan formed in darkness against my peace, scatter now by fire in Jesus’ mighty name.

Lord Jesus, let your presence stand watch over this home tonight — over every wall, every threshold, and every soul sleeping under this roof. Let no thief, natural or spiritual, find a way in. Let no loss come near this family.

Your word says, “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Father, every attack aimed at my children, my seed, and my legacy, be broken tonight by the power of the Holy Ghost. Every voice speaking against the next generation of my family, catch fire now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

I plead the blood of Jesus over my home, my marriage, and my children. I plead the blood of Jesus over my work, my health, and my future. Every spirit of division, every spirit of strife, every spirit of quiet destruction moving through this house tonight, leave now in the name of Jesus.

Father, let your order settle over this home tonight. Every chaos I carried in from this day, I lay it down at your feet. Let every unsettled place in my heart find rest in your hands.

Your word says, “It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.” Lord, give me the sleep of your beloved tonight. Let me rest without striving, knowing you are already building what concerns me.

As I sleep, build what I cannot build. Guard what I cannot guard. Go ahead of me into tomorrow and establish it with strength, provision, unity, and peace.

I declare tonight that my house is built by the Lord and shall not fall. My family stands secure. My children are covered. My future is already established in Christ Jesus.

Thank you, Father, for you neither sleep nor slumber, and you are building even now what I cannot see.

In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
