Father, in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, tonight I come under the covering of your word in Psalm 121. Lord, let your eyes watch over me while I sleep, and let your hand cover my household. Let your fire surround our home tonight, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Your word says, “He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.” Father, tonight I stand on that word. Every plan of darkness set against my rest, every spirit sent to disturb my sleep, every voice speaking discouragement over my life, be silenced now by fire in Jesus’ mighty name.
Lord Jesus, let your angels take their positions around this house tonight — at the door, at the window, over the roof, and beside my bed. Let no sickness enter this house tonight. Let no bad news find its way to my family.
Your word says, “The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.” Father, every scheme of the enemy already in motion against me and my family, be exposed and destroyed tonight by the power of the Holy Ghost. Every gathering of darkness plotting against my peace, scatter now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
I plead the blood of Jesus over my mind, my body, and my spirit. I plead the blood of Jesus over my children, my marriage, my work, and my future. Every spirit of restlessness, every spirit of dread, every spirit of confusion trying to speak to me tonight, I silence you now in the name of Jesus.
Father, let your peace settle over my heart tonight. Every worry I have carried through this day, I lay it down before you now. Let every heaviness lift by the power of God.
Your word says, “The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” Lord, watch over my coming days as you watch over me tonight. Guard my steps, guard my words, guard my decisions. Let your hand be strong upon everything that concerns me.
As I sleep tonight, stand in the gap for me. Fight what I cannot see. Go ahead of me into tomorrow and prepare it with favor, clarity, strength, and good news.
I declare tonight that I will lie down in peace and rise in strength. No plan of the enemy shall stand against me. My home is covered. My family is guarded. My tomorrow is already secured in Christ Jesus.
Thank you, Father, for you neither sleep nor slumber, and your eyes are upon me even now.
In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
