Father, in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, tonight I come under the covering of your word in Psalm 27. Lord, you are my light and my salvation, so whom shall I fear even in the darkest hour of night? Let your fire surround my life tonight, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Your word says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Father, tonight I stand in that light. Every shadow trying to creep into my mind, every spirit of dread, every whisper of fear assigned against my sleep, scatter now by fire in Jesus’ mighty name.
Lord Jesus, let your light surround this home tonight — filling every room, every corner, every space where darkness might try to hide. Let no evil take root here. Let no tragedy come near this family.
Your word says, “When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.” Father, every plan set in motion against me and my household, let it stumble and fail tonight by the power of the Holy Ghost. Every hidden agenda working against my peace, catch fire now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
I plead the blood of Jesus over my life, my mind, and my body. I plead the blood of Jesus over my children, my home, my health, and my future. Every spirit of fear, every spirit of confusion, every spirit of sudden trouble moving in the night, leave now in the name of Jesus.
Father, let your light settle over my thoughts tonight. Every worry I carried through this day, I lay it down at your feet. Let every dark place in my heart give way to your peace.
Your word says, “In the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me.” Lord, hide me tonight where the enemy cannot reach. Let your covering be my safety.
As I sleep, be my light where I cannot see. Fight where I cannot fight. Go ahead of me into tomorrow and fill it with clarity, strength, favor, and breakthrough.
I declare tonight that I will not be afraid, for the Lord is my light and my salvation. My home is covered. My family is safe. My tomorrow is already secured in Christ Jesus.
Thank you, Father, for you neither sleep nor slumber, and your light never fails, even through the darkest night.
In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
