Psalm 46 Prayer

Father, in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, tonight I come under the covering of your word in Psalm 46. Lord, be my refuge and strength, a very present help even now as the night falls. Let your fire surround my life tonight, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Your word says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Father, tonight I run into that refuge. Every trouble assigned to meet me in my sleep, every spirit of chaos, every voice of confusion trying to speak into my night, scatter now by fire in Jesus’ mighty name.

Lord Jesus, let your presence be a wall around this home tonight — over the roof, the doors, the windows, and every soul resting within it. Let no disturbance interrupt our peace. Let no harm find its way to my family.

Your word says, “Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.” Father, every shaking the enemy is trying to bring into my life, be stilled tonight by the power of the Holy Ghost. Every hidden agenda working against my peace, catch fire now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

I plead the blood of Jesus over my heart, my mind, and my body. I plead the blood of Jesus over my family, my home, my career, and my purpose. Every spirit of panic, every spirit of instability, every spirit of doubt moving in the dark, leave now in the name of Jesus.

Father, let your stillness rule over my spirit tonight. Every pressure I have carried through this day, I release it into your hands. Let every restless place in me settle in your presence.

Your word says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Lord, quiet every noise around me that is not your voice. Let me know your presence more than I know my problems tonight.

As I sleep, hold what I cannot hold. Steady what I cannot steady. Go ahead of me into tomorrow and make it a day of calm, clarity, provision, and good news.

I declare tonight that I will rest untroubled and rise unshaken. No storm shall overtake me. My home stands firm. My family is secure. My tomorrow is already established in Christ Jesus.

Thank you, Father, for you neither sleep nor slumber, and you remain my refuge through every hour of the night.

In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
