UNFPA YoLe Fellowship Programme – Accra

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is excited to invite applications from highly motivated candidates for its YoLe Fellowship Programme. This one-year program aims to empower fellows to become innovative and transformational leaders. It provides opportunities for professional and career development in leadership across various sectors, including within the UN system.

YoLe Fellowship Programme Details

  • Organization: United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)
  • Location: Accra, Ghana
  • Duration: 1 year

Eligibility Criteria

  • Aged between 18 and 30 years
  • Graduates of tertiary institutions in Ghana
  • Able to commit to the fellowship duration (one year) at the UNFPA Ghana Country Office in Accra
  • Proactive with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English (essential for communication purposes)
  • Passionate about leadership, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and social entrepreneurship (including agribusiness, innovation, and artificial intelligence)
  • Demonstrated interest and dedication to development issues, either through volunteer experience, work, or affiliations with youth networks or NGOs
  • Committed to contributing toward Ghana’s aspirations outlined in Agenda 2030
