IsDB Scholarship Program 2024

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is committed to fostering education and empowering young minds across the globe. The IsDB Scholarship Program provides fully funded opportunities for academically deserving and financially disadvantaged students from member countries and Muslim communities worldwide.

Scholarship Categories

The IsDB Scholarship Program covers three main categories:

• Undergraduate Scholarships: These scholarships enable students to pursue their undergraduate studies in various fields, including medicine, engineering, computer sciences, information technology, agriculture, and related disciplines. Notably, this program supports young Muslim students from non-member countries.
• Master of Science (M.Sc.) Scholarships: Launched in 1998, this program focuses on developing human capital in science and technology. It assists 20 IsDB Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs) by providing opportunities for advanced studies at the master’s level.
• Merit Scholarship Program for High Technology (MSP): Commenced in 1992, the MSP targets advanced studies and research. It offers three-year Ph.D. programs and six to twelve-month post-doctorate opportunities in 16 applied science and high-tech areas crucial for the development of IsDB member countries.
• IsDB-ISFD Scholarship Program: In collaboration with the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), this program aims to alleviate poverty in 21 Least Developed IsDB Member Countries (LDMCs).

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be citizens of IsDB member countries or Muslim communities in non-member countries.
• Candidates should demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.
• Specific eligibility requirements vary based on the scholarship category.

IsDB Scholarship Benefits

• Full Scholarship: IsDB covers tuition fees, living expenses, health insurance, and travel costs.
• No IELTS Required: Applicants do not need to submit IELTS scores.
